有金屬鐵皮掉到捷運車廂上,捷運紫線服務中斷

A disaster was averted and passengers of a metro train had a miraculous escape when a large portion of a metal railing fell on a moving train on the Violet Line on Thursday evening due to strong winds. The train came to a screeching halt and luckily no one was harmed but train operations on the corridor were massively disrupted during the evening peak hour.
週四傍晚由於強風的關係導致有一大塊鐵柵掉到捷運紫線行駛中的車上,所幸沒有造成重大災害,捷運車廂上的乘客也幸運的逃過一劫。事故發生時車輛成功的緊急煞車,而且沒有造成任何人受傷,但由於事故發生時間是下班尖峰時間,整個運輸廊道的停擺造成極大的影響。
“We were sitting inside the train when it was climbing up a ramp while traveling from the underground Jangpura station to the elevated Lajpat Nagar station on Violet Line. There are huge metal barricades on both sides of this ramp,” said Mithun Vijayan, a commuter. “Suddenly there was a huge sound and the train came to halt. People started panicking and there was absolute pandemonium inside the train,” he said.
"當捷運紫線電車由地底的Jangpura站登上緩坡要到高架的Lajpat Nagar站時我們坐在車廂中,坡道兩側都有巨大的金屬柵欄,"一位通勤者Mithun Vijayan表示,"突然間有一聲巨大聲響,接著車子就停了下來。人們開始慌亂,車廂內緊張不安的氣氛升高到了極點。"
“For about 20 minutes, the train remained stationary and there were no announcements. Then two three metro officials came and opened up a door from the outside. They pulled up a small ladder and all passengers de-boarded the train and walked towards the Lajpat Nagar station,” he said. “We were told that the metro will not operate now and I walked out of the station to look for an auto rickshaw,” he said.

“A portion of railing on the ramp (when train comes out from underground Jangpura station towards elevated Lajpat Nagar station) has fallen on the track going towards Faridabad around 4.05 pm due to strong winds and rain,” said a Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) spokesperson. “As a result, the approaching train towards Lajpat Nagar was to be put on hold due to this obstruction. All passengers were safely taken to Lajpat Nagar platform,” he said.

“To remove the railing, overhead electrification had to be put off between Central Secretariat and Nehru Place section,” he said. With train operations in the busy section closed, trains were run on two different loops – from Nehru Place to Escorts Mujesar and from Central Secretariat to Kashmere Gate.

Passengers traveling on the corridor had a harrowing time with train movement on the entire line getting affected.

“I went to the Central Secretariat station at 4 pm and an announcement was made only at 4.50 that there would be no train services. There was a huge crowd on the platform as people have been waiting for a long time for a train,” said Aparna Bhalla, a commuter.

Slow movement of trains meant that thousands of office hour passengers were left stranded at stations of the Violet Line. Many passengers left metro stations to look for other modes of transport, only to be fleeced by auto rickshaw drivers.

DMRC didn’t explain how the metal barricade fell due to winds and why no precautions were taken to ensure that the metal wall was strong enough to withstand strong winds.
德里捷運公司沒有解釋這塊鐵柵是如何被強風刮進軌道的、以及為何沒有採取任何預防措施以確保鐵柵的強度不會被強風吹垮。
